Chicago's first
"wear your pancake and eat it too"
variety brunch extravaganza!

Every Sunday starting March 8, The Spot's main dining room will be transformed into a gilded glamor den where guests tip back mimosas and bellinis and feast on specialty brunch faire while Divas and Dames of all genders entertain the troops while promoting their current or upcoming gigs and productions. Hosted by the effervecient entertainment duo Scooty and JoJo (Scott Bradley and Jonny Stax), DIVA BRUNCH will feature a fresh (or at least showered!) lineup of three guest divas each week, including local cabaret talent, club performers, and stars of Chicago's musical theatre world. We will give two one-hour shows every Sunday, at 11am and 1pm, with each "act" given about 10-15 minutes at each show to perform a couple numbers, have a little patter with hostess Scooty and accompanist JoJo, and promote your other projects! It's going to be great fun and a great opportunity for Chicago's "Divas" to seduce fresh fans into their webs!!

MUSICAL GROUPS & MUSICAL PRODUCTIONS
In addition to female, transgender, and drag performers, we wish to highlight and promote musical productions around the city of Chicago. If you would be interested in having a cast member or small ensemble perform 1-2 songs and promote the show on a given Sunday, we are booking now. The numbers do not have to be "show-ready" but a polished, professional performance-style is required. Accompanist is provided, though we must receive sheet music one week prior to engagement. ACCOMPANIST NOTICE
We need piano accompanists to sub for JoJo depending on availability and need. Accompanists must be comfortable in front of an audience, able to learn music quickly, and work with multiple performers. Will accompany 3-4 soloists or small ensembles and receive music one week prior to performance. A brief rehearsal with performers will take place on Sunday morning prior to doors opening.
